My mum needs an aortic valve replacement. She had mitral valve done in 1989. Just wondering what the waiting time on nhs is? She lives alone so I'm just trying to work out time off work with hospital and whether it'll be sooner rather than later.

Hi - the hospital will be your best guide on this as it will depend on the severity and urgency of the aortic valve replacement. You or your mum could contact the cardiologist or his/her secretary at the hospital.
