Hi Nancy,

All is well with me thanks. I'm six months out since surgery. Yet, I still have pains and when I take a deep breath or sneeze my ribs hurt. Talked to the cardio, and he talked to the surgeon. The only thing they could tell me was that it would go away in time. My sternum is small to average, and some take more time then others.

I'll be saying a prayer for your husband that all goes smoothly. He has been through enough already.

You had asked me about my aortic stinosis. And I replied in my last post to you. Did you get that? Just want to make sure that it didn't land up in syber land. Need to get a few things together and go to bed. martha

Martha,
My surgeon told me that it woud take at least a year before my sternum was completely healed..... sounds like you are right on track. Sneezing doesn't hurt me anymore and I was able to lay on my stomach to sleep... that is until the mastecomy :>)

Take care,

Zazzy
