Becky, I saw your post at the time you wrote it but was not able to log in due to a forgotten password. If you are still reading here, please accept my condolences for the loss of your mother. I can only hope that if I find myself in the same circumstances some day that at least one of my children would advocate for me the way you did for your mom. Trust me, she knows all you did for her.

Hugs,
Michele

She died this morning. She was doing well. She fed herself and she was doing well. They even called me to talk about wound care for her bedsores and 20 minutes later - just as I was getting ready to go over there - they called me told me she was unresponsive. They couldn't revive her or get her heart to beat again.

I want to thank everyone who has been so supportive throughout her journey and offered insight, wisdom, prayers, and well wishes. I am very grateful to all of you.
I just saw your post and so sorry about your sudden loss. It is never easy to lose a wonderful mother. Prayers to you and your family at this time and hugs to all of you.

So sorry for your loss. May you have good memories and let the bad memories fade away.

Thanks Honeybunny, carolinemc, JamesW, and Angie.

It has been so very hard being without her.
