A little bit of Kettlebell work. Fair WARNING, I am shirtless and with a bit of recent weight-gain that I did for my last powerlifting competition (about 10lbs total), there is a bit more flab that I like to show in public. I will probably get rid of most of it over next 3-6 months, but for now its there keeping me company.

The idea for this workout was to push my cardio-vascular system a little bit and I accomplished just that. By the way can you clearly see a scar on my chest ;) I did have a full sternotomy (not minimally invasive) about 16 months ago. So, yes, the scar is there, but it is very fair.

This activity took place on July 26th, 2013 and I swung a 48kg (105 lb) Kettlebell x 45 times. This is not a very easy task, and my goal is to get to 2 sets of 50, but this just shows you that if you put you mind to it, you can accomplish anything. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LamxSkl_ISw

If the video disturbs you, I will put a shirt on for the next one and swing it 50 times, and replace the video above with an edit. Just sharing the progress.

Impressive. Good going. Nothing wrong with shirtless. Even at my old age I still occasionally run shirtless on the track (if there's no one else there. LOL) I don't think I could do one of those.

GymGuy, your kettle bell swings inspired me to dust off one of mine. Of course it's tiny compared to yours but I did 3 sets of 25 and in a week or two I will move up in weight.

Congrats on your very nice results at the Open competition. I'm curious, what does 100 o/o raw mean?

P.S. I don't mind you shirtless. :)

Just checking in. @Julian, yes the gym in the video in previous post is my gym in my basement. @Garserin, 100% Raw is an organization http://www.rawpowerlifting.com which means no assistive equipment and no drugs.

Also, in August, I finally got my 2 sets of 50 reps with 100lb Kettlebell - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tjElOxlHFQ Miscounted in this video, but got it later.

I just posted a quick update on what I have been up to recently: http://www.valvereplacement.org/for...ate-Powerlifting-10k-runs-and-other-fun-stuff
