I am just curious; I need to replace my mitral valve as it is leaking again after my 17-year-old repair. I was told Mayo Clinic now takes Medicare and supplemental insurance and I have been charged for a portion of my cardiac CT scan. The business office is closed until Monday, but they sent me the bill today!! I am to have a cardiac Cath on Thursday, May 28, 2022. I will be finding out if this will not be entirely covered also. I am wondering if anyone has had heart surgery at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and I know we are different, however, could you give me a ballpark figure of the cost of your surgery and if Medicare and supplemental insurance covered it? I may have to go somewhere else for surgery. Thanks so much...
