After seeing the pics from the recent CA gathering (looks like a wonderful time!)...would LOVE to get there. I have family in the greater LA area which keep asking when I'm going to make the trek out there. They MAY get their wish next September/October as I've been asked to assist (looking like take the lead at this point) in trying to put together a trip from Chicago to LA along famous Route 66. We'll see how that shapes up ;).
 
Yes! You need to come to LA!! Home of warm weather year round, and some intresting people!! If you come I will get the local's together.

Looks like September 2009 is when this cruise might happen. I found out earlier that they DO want me to spearhead the ENTIRE trip...aye.

I know this is months away...but never too early to plan and get the date on the calendar....

We still want to go to LegoLand and Big Bowl?
 
May be a bit too soon for a res Cort. I don't think there will be an issue with space in January. Things tend to be really slow. I would call shortly after the New Year. In the meantime, a poll might be a good idea to gather head counts.

Count me in! My friend Carol will probably join us too. Well, unless we're snowed in! :eek: I too don't think we'll have a problem with reservations for January. Most places tend to be real slow. Looking forward to seeing everyone then.

Sorry you missed the one at Fabyan...I see you are in Batavia...very close to Fabyan. My grandfather pastored the Church of the Brethren in Batavia, 1978-1983, so I'm familiar with that town!

Since wintertime is generally slower, I will wait until after the New Year to contact both places for reservations.

So far...about 8 people have noted interest in this. IMHO, that's darn good for being the height of the "s word" season...he heh.


Anyone else want to venture forth and join us?

More details in the coming year ;).
 
Technically speaking. It's generally too cold to snow in January.:eek: Bone chilling wind chill never stopped me:D:p
