I hope that all of you that may be in the path of Dorian have extra supplies and meds so you'll be ready should you have to stay home without power for a few days.

Please check in and let us know you'll be all set for it.
 
If you ARE forced to briefly evacuate, be sure to pack your meter and strips so you can continue checking your INRs (in case you can't return home for a while - and to keep them from potentially getting damaged if the worst happens to your home).

Of course, I hope everyone in the path gets through this just fine...
 
At some point, it is going to shift north -- the forecasters don't know when. It is moving very slowly as it strengthens. All very ominous. Just now they are saying it could even hit Cat 5 level. Though Florida is in the crosshairs right now, Georgia/the Carolinas or even the Gulf states could have major impacts depending on where the northward turn occurs.
