hi everyone out there!

this is going to sound very funny to most of you but.....i hope someone can help with this one!
my husband, joey, is 3 weeks post-op and goes from freezing one minute to feeling overheated the next. he has night sweats (welcome to the club, i say!) and is often cold when the temperature in our bedroom is a whopping 75 degrees!!!

my dad who had a st. jude's put in 2 years ago is always cold and wears sweaters no matter the weather.

anyone able to relate to joey's premenopausal symptoms??

thanks!

I tended to have night sweats and feel like I had a temperature (when I didn't -- or a very minor one) for about 4 weeks after surgery. Now that has cleared up.

Hi Sylvia, it's me again.

The hot and cold falshes are a left over gift from the anesthesia. My brother, an anesthsiologist, told me it comes from having your whole body put to sleep and then your brain trying to re-regulate itself. FUN!

It will go away in a while.
