At one time I had bookmarked a link to a website that was basically a textbook article on the history or develoment of open heart surgery. Info was a pdf file. It was a wonderful source of information.
I apparently deleted the link and want to find it & bookmark it again.

Anyone know of any such link?

An authoritative text entitled THE EVOLUTION OF CARDIAC SURGERY was published by Dr. Shumaker ( my professor at Indiana) in1992 Indiana University Press. I've got the book. Its well written in great detail, 476 pages. Wouldn't it be nice if Google scanned it and we could easily reference our questions?

I thought I had first seen it in the must-have references, but could not find it when I went back a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for reassuring me I wasn't suffering from Oldtimer's Disease!
