The surgery went well. Looks like a balloon expansion of the narrowing in the arch took care of it for now. They fixed the TGA and guess there was another artery they did too. Although I doubt he will have much of a scar as he grows we can compare war wounds when he gets older. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers.

Wonderful news. And scars mean you lived! He may beat you yet, my daughters scar grew along with her at least in length. Wishing him continued health and care.

Things are progressing nicely for my grandson. They removed his chest tube and he is off the ventilator breathing on his own now. Can't say enough good things about how great the staff at University of Minnesota Childrens Hospital are. Thanks again everyone for the thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for the update that is great he’s off the vent. Yes Children’s Mpls is great. Saved my kids as well, both skilled and compassionate.
