Fourth anniversary

Four years ago today and I was chatting to my daughter and waiting for the preparation for my surgery which was due to start in about three hours.

Congratulations on the 4 year mark. My husband has the ATS aortic valve and I love to hear good reports on others with this valve. He will reach the 8 year mark this year.

I celebrated by going to a reunion of former colleagues from a job I left over 35 years ago.

My annual echo is to be in a couple of weeks then I see my cardio next month.

I find it hard to recall just how much pain I had. I guess the drugs did work. I dont remember it being so bad now. However,childbirth was still much easier for me. I shot those babies out in 20 minutes!!
