Cool search site for medical information

I received this today in a daily email that I get for computer information:

Every day we use the Internet to search for information. It puts more data at our fingertips than we could ever find before.

We couldn’t possibly read everything on the Web. So we rely on search sites to provide information that’s relevant.

Unfortunately, generic search sites don’t always return the best results. That’s when specialized sites come in handy.

Take Medstory, for example. It is dedicated to searching for information on health and medicine. It works a lot like Google.

Just enter your search phrase. Then, you’ll get a list of results. You’ll also see lists of related topics. These topics help you narrow your search and get focused results. Talk about smart!

I used to spend hours at hahnemnn Hosp (philly) medical Library, I like the internet much better

I typed in "heterotaxy" and came up with over 800 links. Typed in "polysplenia" and came up with over 1000. Boy, that is a switch from the norm! Opened up several and most seem legit! Thanks so much for sharing! Hugs. J.

Unrelated to the site for research, for those who are computer addicted as I am, I got this site from an email that I get daily: http://www.komando.com/newsletters/
Each day she sends an email with another "cool" site to access and I've discovered many great sites this way- you can subscribe to the daily email for free.
