hi , i was born with congenital heart disease
transposotion of the great vessels and various other problems
thats the nature of this disease one major problem and
several minor problems . I had my 1st surgery at the tender age of 2 days
My 5th and hopefully last surgery was
done at age 32 ( valve replacent with a St judeS Mechanical .
I have accepted the coumadin as part of my new life
still hike ,eat veggies some wine etc .I have been blessed with 2 outstanding cardios and a great nurse practioner who knows coumadin managment plus everythign else AS other people have stated it's consistency from my own expierence vacations definitely throw it off .
I have been thru alot but i know that i am meant to be here
because my case made medical history due to its
complexity . It's been a tough journey but i finally feel i
