Can i continue to use Cialis without interactions with my heart failure?

Anybody knows about interactions between Cialis and heart failure?

I think the best bet would be to ask your cardiologist. The thinking has always been that people with heart failure and other serious heart conditions should avoid taking ED drugs. I did a google search using "heart failure Cialis" and got some interesting results. They are actually doing studies now that show that drugs like Cialis and Viagra might actually reverse heart failure (not my words, the titles of articles by Harvard and the NHS in the UK). I'd ask your cardiologist first before taking it but it sounds like it may be a possibility. I'm sure it would also be dependent on what stage of heart failure a patient has.

I read a bit on one study and they connected pace makers to sheep to artificially induce heart failure and then gave some sheep Cialis and others none. The hearts in the sheep that were given Cialis retained the ability to contract and push blood around the body as well as less breathing issues or fatigue. I also think there is a sheep joke here somewhere but I'm going to resist the urge to make one. :D

Was the sheep called baaaberaa..?

But seriously I googled and found the same info as Bryan B

Cialis can interact with some cardiac medications, nitroglycerin/ GTN being the main one, which can be dangerous. Best to ask your doctor for sure, but it is not recommended alongside some medications.
