I don't know about your situation, but I did cardio rehab using the services provided by the hospital that did my surgery. If they have a modern medical records sytem, there is one major benefit to this. With integrated medical records, the cardio rehab nurses could review all my past history, including yearly physicals, blood work, echos, etc. Their advice and assessment was very helpful. In reverse, my cardiologist could see all my cardio rehab records; e.g. three times a week BP and pulse, BP and pulse before and after exercise, etc.
