Broccoli Rabe, Penne & Beans Pasta

Ingredients:

1 bunch fresh Broccoli Rabe
2 cups Penne Pasta
5 cloves fresh Garlic
1 14 oz can College Inn Chicken Broth
1 can Progressive Cannelini Beans
Olive Oil

Pour enough Olive Oil in large frying pan to coat the bottom.

Smash whole cloves of garlic & remove skins. Toss garlic into frying pan on low heat until fragrant.

Toss RAW Penne Pasta into frying pan & toss to coat with oil.

Add 1 can of College Inn Chicken Broth.

Drain liquid from can of Cannelini Beans into broth.

Wash & chop Broccoli Rabe & add on top of Penne Pasta. Reduce heat to simmer & cover pan.

When pasta is about done add the beans to the pan & toss. Heat until beans are heated.

As the broth simmers it will steam the Broccoli Rabe & the flavor with go into the broth. As the Penne cooks it will absorb the flavor of the Broccoli Rabe & Garlic. Everyone that has tried this raves about it.

I do the same thing using Cream of Mushroom Soup with a touch of Sherry & some fresh Mushrooms.

Thank you for adding this recipe! It looks like one that our family will enjoy. I must confess that I don't recognize the broccoli rabe ingredient. Can you help?
