since my target INR is below 3 (and I tend to shoot towards something lower, like 2.4) I'm comfortable with their findings on its accuracy as it pertains to me.

Yes, that looked familiar to me, but I'm not entirely sure where I saw it. It's also reasonable to assume that your meters may not give an exact result. (I wonder, sometimes, how hospital labs are comfortable giving INRs that are supposedly accurate to two places. (2.92 or 3.11, for example))
