Congrats, young man. Stan "the Man" Musial was The Man in baseball but you are truly The Man of vr.org. A great inspiration for us all, whatever our choice of valve. Happy Birthday!
Hi flex, I'm doing my best to assure you have as long a life as possible.Congrats bud, keeping setting the goal higher for me![]()
Just did some math and I'll need to live to 107 just to tie your current record! You are indeed setting the bar high for us allHi flex, I'm doing my best to assure you have as long a life as possible.![]()
Flex, Unless you get hit by a truck I would imagine you'll make 76..........BUT I ain't done yetLOL Chuck you made me do the math, I will be 76 to tie Dick.
Like you, one of my life goals was to see the year 2000. I'd say we've done a pretty good job of living long after surgeryCongratulations Dick. I also had OHS in 1967, but I had to wait 40 more years for AVR and like you I did not expect to live to a grand old age. I hoped to see in the new year 2000. I am now 613868 hours young and hoping to celebrate 1000000 hours hmmm only 44 more years to go.
Was it everything you hoped it would be?Like you, one of my life goals was to see the year 2000. I'd say we've done a pretty good job of living long after surgery![]()
It seemed to start out OK, but it quickly "went to hell in a handbasket"Was it everything you hoped it would be?![]()
When I was seven or eight years old, I was thinking about 2000. What would I be like? Would I even live that long? I'm sure I had other questions (but none of them were the crazy fears that some people had 22 or 23 years ago about the world coming to an end just because the calendar rolled over)
