All systems go.

Took a shower. Walked stairs. Lungs better. Arythmia much reduced with beta blocker.

Gonna make my escape this aft. The surgeon has beaten me to it though. He jumped on a plane to visit his aging American parents whom he hasn't seen since before Covid.

How many days now?

Had a minor setback. Experienced my first (and hopefully last) onset of atrial fibrillation. Went to emerg by ambulance this past Saturday. Doc added Amiodorone on top of existing Beta blocker. As of Monday back to perfect sinus rhythm.

Expecting discharge by Wednesday latest. Hopefully discharge #2 will be the one that lasts.

Following re-admission for atrial fibrillation, I have now had my second discharge. Back at home. Feeling good.

Did notice that heart rate and blood pressure are both lower than before. Probably because of the 2 antiarrhythmic meds -- Amiodarone and a beta blocker. I can feel the lower HR, BP when I stand up quickly or try to walk a bit faster. But feeling good overall. I think the Amiodarone is only temporary. Not sure about the beta blocker.
