Hello again to everyone and hope everyone is doing fine. I have had my pig valves for mitral and tricuspid for a year now and am doing great so far. Had two brain bleeds on warfarin so they switched me to eliqis, which is very expensive, but brain bleeds have resolved and doing okay on it. God Bless! Until next time.

Well done on your 1 year anniversary. I went the Edwards cow way for my aortic and mitral valve replacement 14 months back. Also had trouble with warfarin and now been on Pradaxa for 10 years, a whole lot easier than warfarin.

Doing well now although still tire out quite easily.

As you both appear to have tissue valves and not mechanical, you are taking anti-coagulants for some other reason than the valves (e.g. a-fib, prone to blood clots, etc)?
