16 years with my bovine valve

I just remembered that today is the 16th anniversary of my aortic valve replacement. I rarely think of it. My bovine valve is still working well, and getting 20 years out of it seems like a real possibility.

Congratulations so glad to hear your news , my son is 30 and has chosen to have a tissue valve , so hearing yours is lasting more than the ten years he has been told is comforting , hopefully he will have as good an experience , hope you have many more years with it working so well
