Yes! That was it... I believe that ITC made them. It's funny as I just looked on ebay to see if there were any out there, and someone is trying to sell one for almost $2000 from India. I'm not sure you can even buy the test supplies for these.

Yes. It was ITC.

When I was on another site and used the name 'Protimenow', an ITC attorney (or was it an executive) called to warn me about misusing the word 'protime.' Apparently, he didn't like Protimenow. (FWIW - I was also told that within five years, there will be medications that made INR testing unnecessary. I'm happy with warfarin, FWIW)

I'm still here. Where's ITC?

BTW - the caller told me that they were developing a new meter - IIRC, the name was something like 'InRhythm' (or some other IR name). The more accurate name I thought about for them was In Receivership. (Hey, if you're still around somewhere, ITC, this was just a joke).

The one meter that I didn't like was the INRatio one. It was a nice unit, but I felt like I was playing "Bombs away!" with the blood drop. The Coahuchek is much easier to collect the blood sample.

I put too much trust in my InRatio - it was telling me that my INR was 2.6. I had a minor stroke, and the hospital got an INR of 1.7 from my blood.

I should have sued. I'm not litigious. The company sent me an InRatio 2.

Big deal.

I trust my coaguchek, but occasionally do comparison tests with my Coaguchek Pro, and still have blood draws every few months,
