Hello,

Today is my 1 year valvaversary! I feel pretty good. I'm almost used to the ticking (I have an ON-X valve). This site was such a great resource when I trying to learn more about the surgery and what it would be like. I'm really glad this was here, I've leaned on it a lot when I was feeling scared or unsure about the surgery or the recovery.

Thank you to everyone for your help and advise.

Great to hear @CatDad82! 👍🏼 Happy one year valversary to you.
Am quickly approaching my first, too. Where did the year go!

Very best for the days ahead.

Congrats on the 1st year. That can be a difficult time......getting used to the valve physically and mentally. It gets easier over time.

PS: I like cats too......no more walking at midnite:poop:!

Congrats, I get mine on Thursday. Hope I can get use to the ticking real fast, not sure if my OCD will handle it.
