    Scar still not healed 5 months post op?

    Its been almost 5 months since my op, and there are two sections of the scar that STILL wont heal! They are always scabbed up, and its starting to really bug me as i want to start swimming again and i cant until its all healed and sealed over..plus it makes me concerned re getting a staph...

    5 months post op and am having small sharp stings around the heart

    I had a Bentals procedure in Feb and on and off over the past few months (more so in the past few days) I have noticed very quick sharp stabs around the heart area. Its not really painful as such, it just worries me a little. Anyhow I would like to know if anyone else has felt this sensation...

    How long until you can 'safely' fly after a Bentalls?

    My partners operation was end of Feb and he was out of Hospital around the 1st of May, he also had a pacemaker put in and is on Coumudin and a BetaBlocker. Is it safe for him to take one 2 hour flight on the 18th of June and a return flight on the 19th? Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

    How to deal with bone loss and calcification of the arteries (effects of coumadin )

    I have read a number of studies where coumadin has been shown to calcify the arteries and cause osteoporoses. Being early thirties I really want to know if there is any way to stop the bone loss and to protect the arteries. Any info would be greatly appreciated! :)
