    Do you use meds to control bpm and the heart rhythm? I just started heading down this path several days ago. It’s good to hear that it doesn’t affect your life negatively!

    I know I really debated on wether to get a swine or mechanical valve at the time. Dr said the swine would be good for about 15 years. Decided to go with the mechanical since there is no way to predict what my health would like in 15 years…

    I'm Not Dead... Yet! by Robby Benson My wife got me this book. It was an interesting read. I did not think it would be a synopsis of his film career. However, when he wrote about what it is like to be an open heart patient, he nailed it. -MikeK

    I appreciate the comments. Starting the bridging this week. Stopping Coumidan and starting the Lovenx shots every 12 hours. Stopping everything for ~24 hours prior to the procedure. Restarting Lovenox and Coumidan and stopping the Lovenox after I'm in range. Sounds so routine - I hope it...
