Mylan was the old manufacturer - new one is Viatris - I’m okay for a few months now but will definitely speak to my cardiologist about making the switch if supplies don’t free up by then.

So I’m in Melbourne and talked to my chemist and apparently they’ve changed manufacturers - bottle now a bright blue container - no availability of the new 5s at the moment which is why there is a shortage.

One year is impressive - I always keep some extra but after this will be even more careful 👍

I have had a colonoscopy and gastroscopy (2 different occasions) while on Warfarin with no troubles - doctor was very relaxed about it. Both were for routine check ups only so no polyp removal necessary.

I have a mitral mechanical valve and my target range is 2.5-3.5. I aim for 3 as I figure even if my meter reads high I will still be in a safe range. Have had no problems in 5 years so will continue to stay with this :cool:

Five years ago before my Mitral Valve Replacement I arrived at this forum frightened and confused - Ross was one of the first to respond to me and immediately made me feel reassured. He may be gone but will never be forgotten.

Hi, My husband took 3 weeks off work to care for me at home. He was surprised to find I really didn't need him at all - had no problems with showering or toileting and could even feed myself - just had to take things slowly. The only reason I ended up needing him around was to drive me places :-)
