I received my coagucheck machine yesterday, INR 2.7. I decided to remove the batteries out after test , setting date may take 2 minutes extra, but I don't want to take risk this time..
Do you all use coagucheck machine for PT/INR, what is the age of the Machine? Which batteries you use, zinc carbon or alkaline batteries? My machine got bad due to battery leakage. Did anyone face this? Comments/feedback please

Exactly. Sir. My point was mechanical valves are better than tissue..as they stay 30-35 yrs as per the mentioned literature..90% had event free survival even after 30 years..its good news to me.. that I can expect my wife to live 30 years atleast on this On-x valve if I take care of INR...thats...
