I had lovenox heparin antibody reaction. Heparin induced thrombocytopenia. This is very dangerous. My reaction was atypical- TGA trasient global amnesia. My husband took me back to hospital for diagnosis. My blood platelets were down to 60,000. Heparin, lovenox are great tools. Just reminding...

Immediately after posting this I ended up back in hospital with HIT, heparin reaction. Took a week in hosp to fix. Very dangerous reaction... but luckily no longterm problems. Back on track...

my nails are hard as nails 🤣 post surgery! Prior to surgery they were thin, peeling and easily broken.

Im getting ready for OH AVR on Wednesday 9/16. I can’t see the Littles (Grandchildren) for about next 4 weeks due to Covid guidelines. It is hard. 2/7 yr olds, 1/5yr old, 1/3 yr old and 1/ 14 mo old. My husband doesn’t agree with not seeing them, thinks it is all hyped so have that to contend...

I am 62 with surgery next week. Tricuspid, mini sternotomy, Edwards Bovine valve. not srewhy I have stenosis and regurgitation so “young.” My Gdma died of congestive heart failure at 63. That’s my only clue.
