Vertigo, Visual Disturbances and 'wobbly' feeling

I also had the auras (starting years before AVR surgery), but now post-op surgery, I now also have “stars”, small flashes of light in my vision quite frequently. The auras come & go, but I experience the “stars” frequently every day. No Dr has been able to tell me what may be causing the flashes...

Migraine aura anyone? Or does the cheese stand alone?

Yep! Have had them for decades (before & after OHS). My father had them too. One dr told him it was caused by a sudden drop in blood pressure.

85 Silent Migraines Since Surgery 10/2018

I’ve had the zig-zagging color auras since I was in my twenties (I’m now 60). My dad had them as well. Sometimes they develop into headache & most times they don’t (for me). One dr told my dad that it was caused by a sudden drop in blood pressure. The drs I’ve talked to haven’t a clue of what it...

Early tissue valve failure. Anyone else? (Also have complex issues w/ meds.)

I agree. I think a TEE would tell more. If you do need another replacement of the 2016 valve, could it be done through TAVR? I know a lot of the surgeons purposely put in larger size valves to accommodate a future valve-in-valve replacement.
