Pls if anyone has their valve replaced with the inspiris resilia comment.

Just got my inspiris resilia on Jan 11, 2022 so far so good. For some reason I have to take coumadan for a couple of months to help the valve seat it. So far so good I was having a lot of shortness of breath. I’m 60 years old. My Dr Dr Baay wanted to do a freestyle in my chest but he...

    Valve size and progression

Well I'm still in the waiting room. I'm currently experiencing no symptoms maybe not able to exercise as much. But as far as I can' tell from most studies as long as your not experiencing any symptoms your survival rate is pretty good. Its when you start experiencing symptoms that the death...

    Questions about my Echo

Hi Bonbet thanks for sharing your experience. My cardiologist also said that once your max velocity gets over 4.0m/s then they get concerned. Interesting you really weren't experiencing any symptoms? Just curious is your BMI under 25? Jason

Duration of moderate/ severe stenosis ?

My Cardiologist said he can't really predict the progression of Valve disease. He said he's seen people get moderate/severe and just stay there. By the way I'm in the same board you are, some of readings are moderate others severe. I think my last reading was 38mm/HG. Weird finding out you...

    Questions about my Echo

Hi Steve, Yea my Cardiologist says the same thing, the longer you wait the better that technology gets. I can't get a straight answer as to what the most critical measurement is Pressure, Velocity, or Valve area? Seems like the main thing is symptoms, although my cardiologist did mention...

Ross procedure / Aortic Homograft vs on-x valve

Arnold Schwarzenegger had the Ross procedure it blew out the same day and he had to have to replaced the next day. Talk about a scary situation because your chance of death is now 10% instead of 2%. I'm 55 and when/if I have to have my valve replaced it wouldn't be a Ross for sure

    Questions about my Echo

Thanks epstns for your feedback. If you didn't have any symptoms why did you decide to undergo surgery? Where you afraid you might undergo a 'sudden' event that you wouldn't like. What was the main thing that prompted you to go for it, 'early'? Ok I read that you were tired a lot, did the...
