AFAIK, INRatio was the first to use on-strip control standard and drop the refrigeration storage requirement. It's my understanding that Coaguchek now offers similar features. I personally have used the INRatio and now the INRatio2 have been pleased with both units.

They managed to put me in a coma during my AVR which lasted over 48 hours. During that 48 hour coma I had two additional chest cracks for various reasons of which I suspect major incompetence...but who knows really. I was in twelve days with a revisit two days later for low INR.

I had an AVR last year at 55 due to a bicuspid defect. I've often questioned if this is a relativity new phenomenon caused be some environmental factor like drugs, smoking or some other yet undiscovered genetic trigger.
On-X recipient here at 55 and all is well. In fact, my one year is coming up on the 18th of August!
