I’m 6 years post surgery and am in the hot tub about every other day and use sauna frequently. Cardiologist has not advised against either but I’m also in good health and only take warfarin and a baby aspirin. Would agree with almost might be do to overall health or other concerns.
I had On X, 5 years ago, it took me 6 weeks to make 3 miles, you are doing great. Keep up the good work!
I keep my INR at 2.5 despite claims I can go between 1.5 and 2.0, not worth the risk to me. Not had any problems and I stay very active.
I had the On-X placed with conduit 6 years ago, it was what my surgeon recommended. Despite the claim of only needing to keep your INR between 1.5 and 2.0 I still keep it at 2.5 to 3.0. Warfarin has not been a problem for me, easy to self monitor. After researching both valves I felt they were...

I was able to get a virtual second opinion from the Cleveland Clinic before my procedure 4 years ago at the Mayo Clinic. I forwarded my echos, CT scans and notes, it was an easy process.
I had classic migraines with visual aura followed by a mild headache several times a year before my AVR in 2016. After my surgery I have lost my vision 3 times for about 30 to 45 seconds in one eye and my ocular aura that I had with my classic migraines without the headache occurred several...
