    My condition is stenosis , tiny leak no The best test I’m told is the Tee , I didn’t want that , I have getd and my esophagus is typically itratated so they did an Echo-Stress to get a much better assesment.

    I would never say to someone that all sorts of things come and go after surgery, people are scared enough about it why add to that ?

    AND was just put on Wellbutrin , very depressed lots going on with health worries, family issues , financial so I pray I can remain working but a realtor finding it challenging to walk steps w clients or buzz around like I did 5 years prior :( and if we want anything I must work , hubby is retired .

    No surgery yet.. went into severe this year mine is mitral stenosis . She is thinking about doing the balloon for now … not sure anyone here has had that and what their thoughts were 🤷‍♀️

    Happy to hear it’s behind you and your on the mend . Sounds as though it was a great success . Did you have a biological valve or mechanical and if I may ask , what valve .

    How did your operation go ? Was your mitral leaking or stenotic ? I hope you are doing great . The valve your speaking of ? Mechanical ?

    I’ve had them ask many x over the years , some just press harder to get a better sound and time to time it’s very sensitive if he/she is pushing a little harder so there’s nothing weird about that at all .

    Please contact Dr Rachael Hughes head of Gerald McGinnis Cardiovascular Institute of Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh or Cleveland Clinic and ask if everyone one can choose between a mech and tissue … not all are candidates ….

    And what many don’t seem to understand on this site is many people don’t have a choice so to glorify the mech valve and the pessimism shared on here against tissue valves can make this journey for many much more difficult then it already is . If you have a choice great !
