Older brother died in 1981 of dissecting aneurysm of ascending aorta. My pathology report points to a bicuspid valve at 5.8 cm and Marfan syndrome as being part of the picture.

Aortic valve replacement with On-X valve 27-29mm and portion of aortic conduit on 10/30/07. Triple diagnosis in March 2007: type 1 diabetes, heart valve replacement and lung cancer. Survived them all, no complaints. I am one lucky B!
