    Continuous chest compression CPR no mouth to mouth as brought up in another thread

    These new guidelines are mainly for the out of the hospital setting. If a patient needs chest compressions whether immediately post op or much later, I believe the protocol is to do the chest compressions, or defibrillate if medically indicated.
