That is awesome. I am coming up on only 27 years in September on my MVR.

Got my first while still in the hospital after MVR. Headache is usually minor. I found the frequency went way down after I started using flonase. Since the sinuses and eyes are kinda connected made me wonder if related.

Things are progressing nicely for my grandson. They removed his chest tube and he is off the ventilator breathing on his own now. Can't say enough good things about how great the staff at University of Minnesota Childrens Hospital are. Thanks again everyone for the thoughts and prayers.

The surgery went well. Looks like a balloon expansion of the narrowing in the arch took care of it for now. They fixed the TGA and guess there was another artery they did too. Monday is surgery day. Evan is doing ok. They did the balloon procedure to help mix the oxygenated blood in his heart. There is another complication that came up though. They discovered he also has coarctation of the aorta (narrowing). They will try to fix that when they do the TGA but is does...

Ditto on the vaseline. I load up a qtip and rotate it around. I have had bleeds on trips to arizona and vegas. I am sure the vegas one had nothing to do with the extra alcohol increasing my INR. ;). Things like eyes and nasal passages dry out more the older we get so that doesn't help either.

Good news from the last ultrasound. They are no longer seeing a septal defect. So looks like just surgery for the TGA. Thank you for your prayers.

Thank you for the prayers. Stories like yours help keep us optimistic for a good outcome. The doctors are from the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital which are some of the best in Minnesota along with Mayo.

I read a couple more publications of the same kind of liver enzyme elevation from heparin types of medication. I appears that none of the cases were found to have any permanent liver damage. Once the lovenox is stopped the levels return to normal like they did for me 10 years ago. I think...
