My father died a few years after being diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis. He elected not to have the recommend surgery.
18 years later, I was diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis. Knowing what the likely outcome would be if I didn't do something about it, I underwent AVR in June of 2016.
