Congrats from another 'neighbor' right down the road in St. Charles. I have attended two sessions so far myself and all is going well.

FWIW, my surgeon (same as Steve's above) said at my age of 45 that I would be at 80+% at hitting 10 years and 50+% for 20 years with my tissue valve.

My surgery was just over two weeks ago and my sister went in for an echo yesterday. Sure enough she has a BAV but fortunately no leaking or stenosis. My surgeon said that only 1/3 of BAV patients will require surgery at some point in their life...hopefully this will apply to her as well. Spoke...
