I’m 72 now, 10 years post AVR with a 23mm On-x mechanical valve. It’s been a complicated at times but was very normal most of the time. Heart issues are very scary it can be frustrating every time an illness crops up that that heart has to be ruled out first. I guess that’s a reminder of just how important your heart is in your general health and life.
