If I were you, I would replace the valve selectively asap. My local cardiologist kept telling me I was exaggerating my symptoms, and that my valve was fine; and I almost dropped dead.

I've seen way too many tissue valves fail. In 1997, I got my mechanical. It's slowly failing, but I will keep it as long as possible.
