I had 2 OHS in 2 years, and now finally I have an aortic mechanical valve (Carbomedics TopHat), I also have type 1 diabetes, and I am trying to stay afloat on the sea while managing both my diabetes and INR a tough battle but I am not giving up. This forum helped me understand many things about this cardiac problem and what to expect from my life from now on.
