Seven years ago today this group got me to the top of the mountain

OMG, it has been seven more years since I started this thread and then disappeared again. Time flies, general catch up. My wife of 52 years was having issues in 2009 just when I came back to VR and this wonderful group. after almost two years she was FINALLY diagnosed with Parkinson's and...

    The Merry Christmas Everyone Thread

Don't get around much anymore. Don't get around much anymore. A good title for a song, I think. But my "heart" is here with this wonderful group. Hope everyone is enjoying the season. Please pray for our troops around the world. Regardless of your politics, these kids are doing what their...

    Four years today

Hope you don't really remember lying on the operating table being cut open! lol Those drugs do better that that, they make you forget!! Wonderful that you can celebrate with someone who most certainly is happy and loves you. Other than US, of course. Hang in there, Bill

Seven years ago today this group got me to the top of the mountain

Nice to see so many familiar "faces and names" I wish I had never been dropped from this group. Guess my visits were not "logged in" for a long time at any rate. Great to have such a warm welcome back. And, Ann, I am not sure what you are referring to in the post just 4 or so back(the video...

2 years out - ups and downs

All the best to you, 2 years is great. Breathing is pretty important to that so hope the drugs are helpful. Tough bunch of allergies, guess the top of 10000 ft peak would be the best place to go, except the thinner air. We will have many prayers for your return to "peak" performance. Bill

    28 years and ticking!

I will second Freddie's post "there is hope for me" with only 7 on my "ticker" thanks St. Jude. I rarely hear mine, but my kids(all adults 29, 39, 41) claim they know my level of "excitement" by the speed of ticking. Happy to sound like a "well oiled watch" Great news, thanks for sharing!! Bill

brian back in the hospital - 3rd time this summer

Much as I hated taking Lovenox after a hospital stay a couple of years ago, I gotta agree, any thing that gets you home and outta those places is just great. Good news, we will keep praying and you just be sure to lean on us, this is a fantastic group of loving, caring folks. Best bill

Seven years ago today this group got me to the top of the mountain

Well, it does me too. I did not do the video, he actually made the video to send to his mom and I to tell us he had "popped the question" and it worked! I am the one who put it on YouTube, it has been fun. Some of the videos from their wedding are on that same YouTube with my talk and some...
