Here’s a, “Is this just me?” So I try a little yoga once in a while. I find that downward dog causes so much blood to rush to my head that I feel the pressure and my face turns red. Not painful. Just uncomfortable.

Really, any time my head is below my heart is uncomfortable. Head stands when I was younger after my first surgery for example. I try to do stretching after workouts and just touching toes (okay, shins) from a standing position will do it too.

Blood pressure has always been normal. Still is. Is this just an individual thing? Do others taking anti-coagulants feel this? Inquiring minds want to know.

I exercise daily, sometimes with a little yoga mixed in. I do notice the blood pressure a bit more than previously.
What I really notice is that my balance is off, to the point where I am making minor compensations in daily activities.

I haven't done yoga since surgery. However, I have been inverted many times doing jui jitsu in the past month. The pressure in my face does not feel very significant- the same as pre-warfarin.

But, I could use some help. Please let me know if anyone has a suggestion of how to erase the mental image of Superman in yoga pants from my mind.

It’s just the usual. Blue tights, red briefs. Keeping the cape out of my face is the other issue.

I was close to passing out when doing yoga pre-surgery. But I also felt so lightheaded playing basketball I thought I would pass out sometimes. I assumed it was a valve issue, and I was probably right to an extent.

I've also talked to people who get lightheaded doing downward dog and other inverted positions who have no valve issues whatsoever, so I don't think it's abnormal at all. Breathing deeply will help, I think - but you all may have already known that.
