Thank you !! Yes more than l care to remember.
I went off Eliquis few days ago with permission for my surgeon my hemoglobin have dropped to 85 yet again . I can't take the bleeding anymore so we'll take our chances it's a stroke risk.
8 wks out and my chest hurts terribly. My skin hurts like nothing lve experienced before.
See my Surgeon& Rhumitoidoligist Sept 11/12 for follow-up.
I am glad however l feel free to leave the house and have been couch hunting so that's hopeful.
Thx again.

Hi
I'm really just happy we still have you here rather than the "long silence" ... I mean after all you did go through a risky procedure and you emerged! Fantastic stuff.

and really, don't be afraid to hit that reset and re-discover that you are your own master.

thanks, although from my perspective I was a lucky man

Best Wishes
What a beautiful bride!

Thanks again Duffey
Everyone actually .. Thank you !
Your right it has been on heck of a go !!!
I did it l survived it !! l know it's going to take time to feel right .. .. . they told me a year !!
I want it in 7.5 weeks 😉
now don't do something daft and fall down a shaft cos you're walking and texting

I wouldn't be surprised if the next generation of mobile phones have proximity sensors, LIDAR and RADAR (I'm a tech writer), if they can get the power footprint down enough, so they may WARN you before you run into a wall or get hit by a mail truck. But, then again, they'll sell more phones if they DON'T and the poor accident victim will have to replace the broken phone.

Harriet, hang in there girlfriend. I’m up for TAVR on this coming Thursday, 9-5-19. I’m depressed about my pending new normal. What you’ve described is what I fear. What ugly surprise will raise it’s ugly head? At 3 AM, I was googling “declining TAVR.” That doesn’t seem like a good option from what I’ve read. I don’t believe for one minute that my quality of life will be better. QOL only looks better in TAVR ads where the post surgical folks are running through lilac fields with butterflies in slow motion.

And are they a victim when they did it to themselves, because thry are then also the one commiting the offence
Perhaps 'accident victim' was a bad choice of words. How about fools who were so careless that they walked while looking at their phones, instead of looking where they were going? Is that more in line with clear facts?

... How about fools
I'd go with just "careless fools" ... of which our society seems to be fostering quite a many. I often lamented the loss of the death penalty for some crimes (instead society now just pours millions of dollars at incarceration under the cloak of "rehabilitation"), but ironically the death penalty seems to be what is metered out by fools who text and drive and cause the deaths of others.

We seem to be getting into politics when we mention the death penalty.
Yes, 'rehabilitation' and maintenance of people, for the rest of their lives, doesn't sound much like rehabilitation if they're never released. I haven't heard of many who avoided the death penalty, then completed a medical school curriculum while incarcerated, and then cared for the other poor, misunderstood, convicts who are also in prison for life.

I don't personally think the death penalty is much of a deterrent, and am torn about its use, but it sure costs the system a LOT of money to keep these people in prison for life. (And, yes, I'm aware of exonerations of condemned prisoners who really aren't guilty).

How's THIS for staying on the 4 days of bloody hell topic? (Hey, man, YOU started it)

I do not think I've ever once criticized anyone for taking a topic off on a segway ... I mean that's just organic conversation if you ask me.

agreed ... but at least its cheaper to administer and as rehabilitation is not working either (recidivism rates are interesting) perhaps its worth putting back on the table (and besides, its still on the table in many countries, mule some drugs into Thailand and see how you go)

Here in the United States, reality TV is a common thing. Some greedy network may make some points by showing live executions (with time delays for the West Coast). They'll ramp this up a bit, by making a handful of people on Death Row competing for the honor of being executed live on television (as if being executed at all is some kind of reward). Of course, some crazy people will commit murder, just so they have a chance to be featured on the show. Oh, well, maybe they won't have 'Death Race 2020 (or whatever),' because of this unfortunate side effect.

Dear Ladybug
I don't know what to tell you ..except my apologies if l sound negative throughout my posts it doesn't give much promise to the next person in line.
I will say this .. . l am not your average patient. I am demanding l want answers .. I am the absolute worse patient and my situation is also not your average. I have been fight this for 6 yrs. My biggest optical has been internal bleeding which has been exasperated due to warfarin. Bleeding internally continually is very hard on the heart. This does not happen to most people.
I really do not know much about TAVR
Except it is less invasive in that you don't have the whole chest or sternectomy done.
Doesn't make it less significant it makes it a different procedure.. Less invasive.

I am here l will pray and l will wait and watch for you to come back and share your experience.
One would say stay off Google but l am the worst for Googling every single thing !!!
I like also to be informed because they don't always tell you the other side .. I want to know my options l want to know what is happening and what the odds are ! What my recovery may look like and what my future may hold.

I pray this is none eventful TAVR meaning all goes well and you recover well.
You have fought a battle l know nothing about you are a strong women and l will be watching for you to tell us all about it.

❤ sending hugs and prayers 🐞 ladybug Xx
