Sternal Wire Removal?

Appreciate every response. Very interesting read.

I had the top wires removed about a month ago now without general anesthesia, so all was good!

if you were on antibiotics before any swabs were taken then its highly unlikely they'd be able to culture anything

if it was the same bacteria as me it was propioni bacteria and that's notoriously hard to culture (meaning its often missed)

yes all good and i notice that under the skin its not lumpy as the wires are gone. At airport they no longer ask me if i am wearing a necklace.
