Just a few more days and this will be all behind you! Best wishes for a successful replacement and a quick recovery!
God Bless and Godspeed!

Only positive thoughts coming your way for Monday's surgery. Relax and spend time with your family. The Lord will send his angels on that day to hold you tight therefore "no worries". See ya on the other side of the mountain. :D:D

Thank you everyone. I have my pre-op tomorrow so it is getting more "real" now! If it was not for the Lord I would be going crazy right now, but the peace He gives me sustains me!

"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
John 14:27

I will be doing my catherization while you are doing surgery and then I am right in behind you the next day.

I hope you have a Great weekend!! You are in my prayers!! I'll be getting fixed soon, so looking forward to your posts on how it feels to be on the other side and out of the waiting room!!!

Randy, good luck tomorrow. Looks like you are all prepared and ready to go!

Thank you, I am ready to get this done.

I realize not everyone on this forum may be Christian, but please read Psalm 91 if you need some comfort going through heart surgery or any other trail, I know it gives me great comfort.

Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, ?He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.?
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
14 ?Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.?

Surgeon just called, cancelled surgery tomorrow, now Tuesday

Surgeon just called, cancelled surgery tomorrow, now Tuesday

I was really hoping this would not happen, but my surgeon just called and his flight was canceled so they are moving my surgery to Tuesday morning. He was on vacation this past week.
I wonder if they realize how hard it is for people to wait for this then they move the date, especially calling a few hours before the surgery, I know it is not his fault but darn!!
Well getting ready for Tuesday now.

I so understand the added anxiety but try to tell yourself 'things happen for a reason'. Good your surgeon is rested from vacation and was kind enough to call you today. Some may have let you arrive at the hospital and then be sent home. :( That would have been even worse.

Sending very best wishes all goes smoothly Tuesday. It's good to have a surgeon relaxed and rested after vacation. :)

That is true, it could be worse. I was quite impressed the surgeon himself called, and not one of his staff, so that was good.
