Vistors to Georgia!!!! (reunion of valvers)

Hi all you Georgia valvers.
My husband and I will be coming into Atlanta, Georgia on March 8th thru the 14th. We would love to meet some of the vr forum members while we are there.
I've already contacted Sheepdog (Greg) and Halleyg on line and they would love to meet up too. So lets see if we can get some more of you that live around that area. We will be staying in Marietta. Looking at maybe Tuesday or Wednesday daytime or evening gathering.
We are excited to be able to meet who we can from the vr forum.
When responding please give any suggestions on restaurants, where we can meet.
Sheepdog has suggested Cracker Barrel on interstate 85.

You guys keep me in the loop for this. Would love to meet you all. I live in smryna which is a stone's throw from marietta. I don't know for sure if i'll be able to come since my wife could give birth to twins at any time in march, but keep me updated and i'll come if i can.

WOW!! So happy with the responses. I'm looking at Tuesday evening at Cracker Barrel. Unless Halleyg comes up with a better place in the middle of us all. Don't know the city well enough to plan without help. What time is good for all of you?
I can adjust my schedule if have too.

Well, Georgia people we set the date to get together...
Its March 10th Tuesday at Cracker Barrel on Interstate 85 @ 7pm. Hope that works for everybody!
It looks like there will be at least 12 of us. Im really excited to meet you all. I'll probally have a sign or something to let you know where were sitting .
Havent heard from Sheepdog yet, but should soon.

Hi Georgia vr people,
It is with great regret that we have to cancel out trip to Georgia at this time. My husband work has just informed him that their could be lay offs. With this said we dont feel that it would be wise to spend the amount of money to go to Georgia at this time. We will try again maybe towards the end of the year if things work out. We were looking forward to meeting you but feel we made the right decision for now. I will keep in contact with some of you personally and look forward to meeting you in the future.

These work and economy conditions sure put a damper on what would normally be many excellent opportunities for us to get together and enjoy one another's company.

I have even been forced out of attending this years official VR.com reunion for the 1st time in 10 years!.

What a bummer...

Oh - Well... It could always be worse - At least we are all ticking enough to get online now and then..

It really sucks that crystal can't come out, but us georgians should still try to get together sometime. I will probably be pretty busy with the twins for awhile, but i thought i would keep the idea open. No reason why we shouldn't get together for dinner sometime.

My husband and I would be happy to join whomever from VR that would like to go to dinner. We both work(retiring next year) but we get off early enough to meet for dinner and enjoy some good conversations.
