Here we go on another week and I am glad to be back on track and able to report a 3 pound loss for the week:D ... No secret or magic I just stayed with my Weight Watchers point ... like they say "if it ain't broke.......":p I hope everyone has had a good week and that this week will be even better:) ... I still have not been back to my walking but I have been very active otherwise.

Let's remember to keep Ross and Lynn in our prayers ... I know we all miss his watching over us.:(

Starting weight........233
Last Week...................211
This week....................208
Weekly Change............ -3
Total Loss ..................25

Congratulations Cooker!

You are on a weight loss roll!:)

I hope all ThrowDown members roll with ya!:p:p

You are on a weight loss roll

WEIGHT LOSS ROLLS??
Do they have them in cinnamon?
If Cooker lost 3 pounds in one week,I think I'll buy some:D:D

Hi Everyone, Great Job Cooker, sounds like WW is working out great.
I'm stuck . After my one pound gain last week I have stayed the same.
HOPEFULLY my Synthroid increase will help by next week and I will feel better(no more: fatigue, depression&even MORE water retention if thats possible)
This is my favorite time of year and I really want to enjoy the autumn
weather while it lasts -- It is so fleeting. Maybe that is why it is so special:)

No change is a victory for those of us who battle our weight .... keep at it and it will happen!! ... If we could come up with weight loss cinnamon rolls that worked we would be happy AND rich:D:D:D

Well done, Cooker. Congrats:) I am glad to report the loss of 3 lbs!

Starting: 166 lb..........Last week: 163 lbs............Today: 160 lbs

Yes, indeed. We miss Ross watching over us. He and Lynn are in my prayers..

Dina, it is great to stay the same when TSH is high and your synthroid dose needs adjustment. I was able to lose 3 lbs after my dose was increased, and everything else improved too. Good luck:)

Yeah mine bounces around alot. I will stick to a normal range(1-3) for a
couple months and then WHAM! I'm back up to 9! and curious
as to why I have been starving and still can't lose weight:rolleyes:
Maybe those of us with hypothyroidism should get a "handicap" for the
Throwdown , I mean since we have to work harder to lose that pound;)

I just finished my first week of WW and I was done almost 4 lbs. I'm not going to post the actual figures yet but that should be soon coming. It has been a while since I was on the losing (winning) side and it feels good. Congratulations Tom! Eva, a big congratulations to you too! Dina, hang in there. I know how tough it is to battle not only weight but some of the medical problems that make losing it so difficult.

I'm actually out of town today but I'll check later to see how Wise, Cindy, Mary, and some others have done.

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it"
I really appreciate this quote from John. I feel a connection to it...it says
so much in such a subtle way.
Thanks for the well wishes,Betty and Cooker
Dina:)

Great job Betty!!:) ... I'm glad you joined us ... It is very helpful to have a few WW's here ... any suggestions we have will help everyone!!!

Someone mentioned in another thread that the ThrowDown has no rules on how to post and I think that helps in our success ... no one needs to feel compelled to post actual numbers ... that can be a very personal thing and we never want to put each other on the spot .....

The maintenance challenge continues. I'm back to where I was 2 weeks ago, thank goodness, but still can't shed those 2 pounds above goal.
However, Non Scale Victory = I've gone 4 days without eating any of the office Ghirardelli squares. Yeah!

Of course, we're going out to Babe's for chicken fried steak and biscuits tomorrow night with the dog training gang....self-sabotage, but one must indulge from time to time.

Laurie ... good job:) ... I was talking with a few folks at WW and they said the maintenance was tough.... that maintaining is harder than reaching goal so I can see where it is a struggle.....

And we must indulge from time to time and chicken fried steak is a great way to do it:D

Laurie and Dina, good job maintaining!

Eva and Betty, great job on losing! Who Hoo!!! Unfortunately, I gained a pound--Boo Hoo!

Such is life!:p:p:p

Hello Everyone, I do not mean to get out of our main subject, but I like to support Dina and tell her she is not alone in this. My TSH has been going up and down sice 1986 and drove me crazy, mainly with my weight management. Last month it was 12!! Ready for this: last October it was 90!! I am hoping with my news valves, TSH may stabilize:D

I shall send you a pm to discuss thisand to discuss doses, unless we can start a new website: labelthyroid.com:p
:D

Mary ...Try some prune juice :p .... you have been very busy and off your regular routine .... I bet it and more will be gone by tomorrow!!!:)

Here's our report!

CINDY:

Starting Weight: 170.4
Last Week: 134.6
This Week: 132.2
Weekly Change: -2.4
Total Loss: 38.2

WISE:

Starting Weight: 204.8
Last Week: 177.2
This Week: 177.8
Weekly Change: +.6
Total Loss: 27

Cindy is very close to her "official" WW goal. I'm very glad for her even though I act like it's sickening.

The gain for me this week was just one of those things; I was really bad. However, since Tuesday, our weigh-in, I'm showing that I'm on a downward trend; so there's still hope for me!

Congrats to all you losers and stayers. Congrats to you Betty on a good first week!

Mary ...Try some prune juice :p .... you have been very busy and off your regular routine .... I bet it and more will be gone by tomorrow!!!:)

I know it's raining in South Carolina . . . don't get struck by lightning for your prune juice endorsement!:p:p:p

Cindy and Wise, another good week! You really didn't gain much at all Wise, and if the scales are moving down today, you'll have a loss next week.

I wonder if Cindy can bottle and sell her motivation to the rest of us?;):D

Cindy says:

I'm vain enough that I really like the results that I see and feel, but also I like feeling better; it's so much easier to move.

I'm up 1 lb this week. Thursday was my wife's birthday, so we went out for dinner. That means friday was the wrong day to be weighing in.
