Not only do are names rhyme but we definitely share a sense of humor.
I'm very glad that you are a frequent poster,it would be dull without you!
Dina:)

Maybe I should be the 'stoat lady'....what is a stoat anyway:confused
with all the animals I like to save, I probably have one here somewhere:D

Oh Dina, you may not want to be a stoat lady......they are little weasel type animals, able to kill prey much larger than themselves. I had one take down a large chicken by ripping into its neck and chest. And a few years back I had a baby stoat get into my house and poop in my office. I was trying to chase it out the front door and scared the xxxx right out of it.

Ahhhhh, but he's so cute Bina!!!! :)

NOW do I get a puppy............ P L E A S E ?
Thank you all for putting up with me.
I have been puppy-shopping all day and have I found some cuties!
I'll keep an eye out for you,but I'm mostly looking for large dogs.
I may take a look at the shelters too. Like Superbob; I think some
of the best pets can come from the pound or Humane Society.
What do you think about Irish Wolfhounds? I don't know much about
their personality. Or how about a white fang, the wolf/malamute mix.
Those are hard to find and may even be illegal in some states.

Here is a pic of an Irish Wolfhound that I would just love to have:
(if it comes thru)
For some reason I cant get it , it is a jpg file.

Wolfhounds are nice dogs....eat alot...and unfortunately don't live as long as a smaller breed.
Huskies and Mals are working dogs, needing tons of exercise and space.
Take lots of time before choosing a dog, certain breeds have very strong traits that may not match with your lifestyle or personality.

I got my choc Lab when she was 20 mths, owners were divorcing.
I got my Airedale when he was 3 yrs, owners moving away.
My Bouvier des Flandres was 4 yrs, owner had too many dogs.
My other Bouvier was 2 yrs, owners moving.
My Bichon Frise was 14 yrs, owner evicted from house.
These have all been fantastic dogs!

I saw one breed I like that I never heard of; a Beauceron, from France.
I also love hounds and hunting dogs, heck I love em all!
I also had 2 terriers..Scotties,they were very sweet. And believe
it or not a Rottweiler and she was maternal and protective as if I
were her baby(or puppy:D)

BTW- I guess I'll let the "Stoat Lady" epithet wait for now,I don't want
to be associated with such a vicious(albeit cute) animal.
Dina:)

Hope you saw my avitar, but goat boy must now go back to being a plain ol' cat.

WOW!!! Bina, thanks for all 4,000 of your posts.
Ross will be very proud of you. Look forward to many, many more...
Don't let those bad guys tease you about your goats. There sooo cute.:D

Nope, no fainting. There is a specific breed, fainting goats, who will "faint" when frightened. I think it has something to do with their nervous system, and in nature it would protect them from stress. I think that breed would freak me out too much!

Congrats Bina - now confess - you just keep posting because you look forward to the prize!!!!
