Hi all,
It's been almost a year since I have posted. I had a beautiful baby girl a year and a half after my mitral valve replacement. Her name is Brynlee. She is nine months old now and we are enjoying her so much. The whole heart surgery nightmare feels so distant now I rarely think about it. With my tissue valve I have assured myself more surgery in the future, but just looking at my sweet baby girl has made it all worth it. Life is good! Hope you are all well.

She is a beautiful baby, and I'm sure she brings you much joy. Congratulations!

what a lovely bright and shiny little one. I am proud for you. We have some who are in doubt about pregnancy and now we have another baby to show when they ask. Thank you so very much for sharing and letting us know. Wishing you well - Blessins...........

How lovely of you that you chose to share your precious news and beautiful daughter with us! So very important to hear the success stories especially when they come with extra gifts like that!!!

Good luck for continuing success with your tissue valve....who knows .... they're just statistics after all. Like athletic records .... inevitably broken, someday! May your valve serve you a good long time!

Best wishes to your beautiful family!

Janea........ Congratulations. What a beautiful baby she is.

Don't fret about a future surgery. There is the good likelihood by the time you need to think about it, they will have perfected percuntaeous valve surgery and you may not have to have your chest cracked again. It is not that far off according to my Mass General Surgeon. He said they are actively working on it as we speak.

it's good to hear the success stories from time to time; those of us who just get back to living life need to hang around here and help those in the waiting room up and down the mountain!

Congrats on your valve and your baby !

She is beautiful! That is your silver lining on a cloud. Thanks for the inspiration to us "newbees" who are just starting our journey. You show some blessings, outcomes and some good that may be down the road for everyone:) congrats on the pumpkin you deserve happines
